SUNMAX INDUSTRY is the overseas distributor of Haibo Trolling Motor. This leak test fixture is independently researched, developed and manufactured by SUNMAX, specially used for air tightness inspection after maintenance of Haibo electric trolling motors.

1. Integrated brass valve body with zero self-leakage
Integrated thick brass valve body with zero self-leakage, stable pressure resistance, far more reliable than fragile 3D printed test tools, meets industrial after-sales inspection standards.

2. Dual-unit MPa/PSI pressure gauge to prevent overpressure
Dual-unit pressure gauge marked with MPa & PSI displays real-time pressure clearly, helping operators avoid damaging motors by over-inflation. Full English operation labels printed on hose mark pressure, time and dual-inspection standards for global technicians.

3. Standard 8V1 American valve fits manual pumps
Standard 8V1 American inflation connector fits most universal manual pumps on the market, eliminating the risk of seal damage caused by uncontrollable high pressure from air compressors.

4. Clamp sealing fits all Haibo trolling motors
Flexible explosion-proof braided hose with adjustable stainless hose clamp fits all Haibo trolling motor shaft ports perfectly, tight sealing without pressure loss during testing.
5. Double detection system prevents missing leaks
Double leak detection system: pressure gauge monitoring plus soapy water bubble check. Two inspection methods work together to find micro hidden leaks, prevent rework caused by water leakage after repair.
6. Compact all-in-one design for easy carrying
All-in-one compact assembly, easy to carry and store. Suitable for dockside and outdoor on-site repair, upgrade single water immersion test to dual detection and save labor & time.
The package only contains the leak test hose assembly: brass valve body, dual-scale pressure gauge, explosion-proof braided pressure-resistant hose, stainless steel hose clamp and Chinese/English operation instruction.
The manual air pump is NOT an accessory of this product; it is an auxiliary tool to be prepared separately for testing.
The air inlet of the fixture adopts standard 8V1 American tire valve connector, which matches universal manual air pumps on the market. Air compressors are NOT recommended for inflation, as their output pressure cannot be precisely controlled and overpressure will easily damage the motor shaft seals.

1. Seal connection with trolling motor shaft inflation port
Sleeve one end of the test hose onto the inflation port at the end of the trolling motor main shaft, fasten tightly with the stainless steel hose clamp to achieve fully airtight connection.

2. Connect 8V1 valve to manual air pump
Connect the 8V1 American valve connector at the rear of the fixture to your separately prepared manual air pump. Direct inflation with air compressors is prohibited.

3. Slow inflation, pressure limited under 0.25MPa
Inflate slowly by pumping, monitor the dual-scale pressure gauge at all times. Stop inflating once pressure reaches the standard test value 0.2-0.25MPa (30-40PSI). The pressure must never exceed 0.3MPa at any time.

4. Hold pressure for 3~5 mins & dual leak judgment
Disconnect the manual pump and hold pressure for 3~5 mins for dual inspection:
① Check pressure gauge: stable pressure reading is the basic qualification standard.
② Spray soapy water on shaft ends, joints and sealing rings. No bubbles emerging means perfect sealing.
If both tests show no abnormality, the motor passes inspection and can be put into water. Obvious pressure drop or continuous bubbles indicate leakage, check and disassemble , replace seals for rework.
Notes:
1. Maximum safe pressure: Never exceed 0.3MPa during inflation. Excessive pressure will deform and damage the shaft-end sealing rings of the motor, leading to permanent seal failure and water intrusion into the motor.
2. Test holding time range: Keep pressure for 3 to 5 minutes. 3 minutes is the standard for routine inspection, and 5 minutes is recommended for recheck after thorough disassembly & maintenance.
3. Dual leak-detection method: While holding pressure, spray soapy water on all sealing joints and shaft ends. Combine pressure gauge reading check with bubble observation for double insurance, zero missed tiny leaks.
Unify post-repair quality control standards for all global Haibo distributors. Standardized air tightness test with clear pressure safety rules, double-inspection design (pressure gauge + soapy water) avoids overpressure damage and undetected tiny leaks. Effectively reduce water intrusion and motor burnout failures, cutting after-sales maintenance & compensation costs. Improve store professionalism and customer trust, an essential supporting inspection tool for all Haibo dealers and marine repair shops.
